Activity Analysis

Activity analysis is a central part of occupational therapy. Through activity analysis a person can really understand the energy, the steps, and the requirements of a specific task. By understanding these features, an activity can be fully understood to enable a client to either regain the movements necessary to complete the activity or develop adaptations to do so.

Treatment plans provide an overview of a client’s strengths and limitations, desired goals, and the methodology therapy will take. Treatment plans are often written in different styles, but it is the clinical thinking and therapy that is important to enabling clients to reach their goals.
